תקציר מחקר השוואתי בין הקסטידין לכלורהקסידין

Clinical trial type, journal article, randomized controlled trial, comparative study Abstract
Objectives: The objective of this double-blind clinical trial was to evaluate the
The effectiveness and side effects of two different types of mouthwash.

Method and Materials: Ninety subjects with gingivitis or mild periodontitis
periodontitis were randomly divided into three groups: Chlorhexamed 0.1% 1 chlorhexidine group.
Group 2, Hexoral 0.1%, hexidine, and group 3, a placebo preparation for control.

The subjects received instructions on how to use the mouthwash. At the beginning, as well as after two and four weeks, the following indicators were measured:
API interdental plaque, BI bleeding index, periodontal community index for the need for treatments, gum index
GI and DI color change index Statistical analysis was conducted using the Kruskal-Wallis test, Fisher's exact test, and the Wilcoxon test.

Results: In the API group, mean 1 improved significantly (P>0.001) after four weeks.
Mean BI decreased significantly, as did GI. Mean BI, API, and GI decreased significantly in group 2, and it also appeared
Statistically significant reduction in GI. In group 3, after four weeks, significant improvements were recorded
of the average values of all parameters. In comparison between group 3 and group 1, 2, the difference in the decrease
The API was statistically significant (P<0.002). No statistical difference was seen when comparing groups.
1 and 2 - Regarding the improved results of BI and GI, no significant statistical difference was found in the effectiveness of the three
The preparations. All 3 groups showed some increase in DI after 4 weeks. In a direct comparison between group 1
For 2-, the difference in the increase in tooth discoloration was statistically significant (P=0.0035, no difference was found).
Statistically significant difference in the average color change rates compared between groups 2 and 3.

Conclusion: This double-blind clinical trial demonstrated that Hexoral (Hexetidine) is a good alternative to mouthwash.

(Chlorhexamed (Chlorhexidine), and also causes less tooth discoloration.
